Decades before Cryptopunks, Bitcoin and Blockchain, a drought in Southern California in the 1970s resulted in an unforeseen consequence: as individuals emptied their swimming pools, a group of four teenage surfers from Venice Beach’s Dogtown neighborhood moved in, converting their surfboards into skateboards and a new sport was born. These death-defying stuntmen were the original Skatepunkz!
Our Story
